Weekly Update 3/10/2013

Final model (left) for the Squirrel, compared to the initial concept art provided (right)
Steven updated the character mesh to include the tail. We still need to add cloth simulation and a zero point gravity marker on the tail so it floats.

Josh added a melee mechanic to the base game-play. We still need to figure out how to deal actual damage, though. He is currently researching archetypes.

Our concept artist, Justine, is drawing up the HUD. We plan on either using a hand drawn art style, or a clean one.

This is the result of one of our programmers, Manny. He was able to get the bots to follow you once you hit a trigger volume. It still needs some work but it is good progress!

Here are a few of the voice acting clips recorded and modified by Miguel, the lead audio designer.

King Monarch - voiced by Aaron

Random Squirrel- voiced by Murilo

Chip - voiced by Aaron

Following, Lincoln has put together a basic video on attaching K-Asset together. This video and tutorial will help us make the main character's tail dynamic.

Murillo made some modular pieces and a block-out of the hub-world. He is currently working on some more assets to fill out the empty space.

Dusty did some rigging of the henchman butterfly. It's almost complete and when it is we will put it in the level.

Our concept artist, Miranda, drew this as the concept art for the main character's love interest, Alex.
