Where We Start

So I decided to start a blog for the video game we are working on. Currently, we are about half way through production of what we expect to have completed by June.  Let's get everyone up to speed!

We had our story planned out, but then a little game called "Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time" came out and was uncannily similar to what we had, so we had to drastically change it. What we ended up with turned out to be better than what we had, so we are happy.

At the time of this blog post, these are the things we are working on:

- We want our main character to have a dynamic tail, but attaching it and making the tail float has proved difficult.

- We want to get our HUD (heads up display) working well.

- We are trying to get the punching animations to work, as well as dealing damage to enemy bots.

- We are trying to build our hub world, making it 100% perfect and workable.

- We are attempting voice acting for our characters using a garbled talking style.

- We are trying to master the AI for the bots.

- We are trying to get all of our enemies modeled, textured, rigged, and animated.

- We are trying to get the required props and assets created.

- We are trying to perfect our cel-shaded art style.


These bullet points are what we are trying to complete for the next month. I realize that this is probably a little too ambitious but we have a passionate team and I believe we can do it.
